Abstract

PURPOSE: To equalize the hardness of cake and avoid the lowering of dehydrating performance regardless of conditions for coagulation by allowing the vertical movement of a cake thickness-regulating tool provided in a dehydrator by which the thickness of cake being sent out is made constant.
CONSTITUTION: Substance to be treated, supplied from the first storage tank 1, is mixed with a flocculant from the second storage tank 2 by the mixer 3 and then sent into between the endless beltlike filter cloth 4, the case side wall 5, and the partition wall 6, where it is dehydrated by gravity.
