Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform the temperature correction easily and in a short period of time by scanning two black bodies of different known temperatures to display the temperature distributed images, and causing the level of the signal sampled to coincide with the normal signal level corresponding to the known temperature of both black bodies. CONSTITUTION:Two black bodies B1 and B2 are scanned by an optical scanning mechanism 1, and are displayed of luminance in a display device 7 via an infrared ray detector 2, an amplifier 3 and a correction circuit 20. When a first black body B1 is indicated by a light pen 9, an output signal to the black body B1 of the amplifier 3 is sample-held in a sample holding circuit 14, and the gain adjusting part 12 and the level adjusting part 13 of the amplifier 3 are controlled so that the above output signal coincides with the normal signal value of B1 from a temperature value input part 19, thereby to correct the above output signal to a signal of a correct temperature value. The signal of the black body B2 is similarly corrected through a switch 17. As a result, the temperature corrections can be performed easily and in a short period of time.
