Abstract

PURPOSE:To compensate uneven sensitivity, by injecting the reference infrared ray to an infrared detector train and correcting the gain of an amplifier provided with each detector, through the use of output of the infrared detector. CONSTITUTION:The revolution of a horizontal scanner 3 detects the difference of sensitivity of the detector train 5 based on the output of a gain control amplifier 16 corresponding to the slitlike pattern on the reticule 14 plane viewed from the train 5, before an infrared ray 1 is injected to the infrared detector train 5. The gain correcting signal processing circuit 15 controls the gain of the amplifier 16 based on this sensitivity difference to compensate the uneven sensitivity of each detector.
