PURPOSE:To obtain a highly uniform infrared image by automatically correcting differences in sensitivity among a plurality of infrared-ray detectors. CONSTITUTION:On the outputs of preamplifiers 12 provided corresponding to detectors corresponding to two slit-shaped pattern on the surface or reticle 14, sensitivity correction signal processing circuit 15 detects differences in sensitivity among infrared-ray detectors in detector column 3. The timing when infrared-ray detector column 3 detects the slit-shaped patterns is transmitted to sensitivity correction signal processing circuit 15 with synchronizing signal 9. On the basis of the differences in sensitivity among detectors, sensitivity correction signal processing circuit 15 supplies bias currents to respective detectors.
