Abstract
PURPOSE: To separate waterdrops and carbonic acid gas from methane gas and prevent uneven combustion and the generation of a malodor at combustion by a mechanism wherein a feed passage is connected at a low level and a discharging passage at a high level respectively, and an outflow port for waterdrops and carbonic acid gas is mounted to a lower end of a separating chamber.
CONSTITUTION: The mixed fluids of methane gas, carbonic acid gas and waterdrops generated at a methane gas generating tank 1 are flowed into a separating chamber 3 from a feed passage 4. The methane gas with light specific gravity is introduced to a combustion apparatus 5 from a discharging passage 6 connected to a location higher than the feed passage 4, and the waterdrops and carbonic acid gas with heavy specific gravity pass through an outflow port 7 of a lower end portion of the separating chamber 3, and are recovered to a recovery tank 10 by means of a recovery pipe 8. The recovered waterdrops collect in the bottom of the recovery tank 10, and the carbonic acid gas collects in an upper portion of the recovery tank 10. When the accumulation of carbonic acid gas increases, water flows out from a water discharging port 11, and the carbonic acid gas can positively be recovered.
