Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the rotor of an induction machine of less aggravation in power- factor and without hindrance to forming a duct by a method wherein the width of the aperture of a half-closed slot is aluminum die casted in a specified dimension. CONSTITUTION:The dimension (b) of the aperture of the half-closed rotor slot 2 which is formed in the rotor is approximately 0.1mm., and the dimension of a chipe formed when die-casted is more than 1mm.. Whereby aluminum is prevented from leaking out of the aperture and the duct for ventilation can readily be formed in the induction machine of middle capacity, when aluminum is die-casted in the rotor slot. Though the reactance is somewhat increased, the leakage reactance is decreased, because the magnetic permeability at the chipped portion is made smaller compared with a wholly closed slot.
