Whereby aluminum is prevented from leaking out of the aperture and the duct for ventilation can readily be formed in the induction machine of middle capacity, when aluminum is die-casted in the rotor slot. Though the reactance is somewhat increased, the leakage reactance is decreased, because the magnetic permeability at the chipped portion is made smaller compared with a wholly closed slot.
