Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the characteristics of a permanent magnet type synchronous motor by forming only the cage-type conductor of the part having the maximum magnetic saturating phenomenon of magnetic material, thereby increasing the lateral reactance. CONSTITUTION:A starting cage-type conductor groove 2 is formed at the inner peripheral side in the vicinity of the surface of a rotor iron core 1, and a permanent magnet 6 is engaged without gap with an air gap 3 for mounting the permanent magnet provided further inside the groove 2. A magnetic unit 12 is engaged with the groove 2 of the part corresponding to the corner of the permanent magnet 6, and a secondary conductor such as aluminum or the like is integrally formed with the groove 2 except the previous groove 2. Thus, the lateral reactance can be increased, and the characteristics of the permanent magnet type synchronous motor can be improved.
