PURPOSE:To improve the magnetic efficiency of a flat motor, to increase the torque of the motor and to improve the motor characteristics by facing magnets at both axial sides to axially interpose a flat rotor coil from both sides, thereby reducing the leakage magnetic flux. CONSTITUTION:Upper and lower magnets 3a, 3b having 1/2 of the thickness of the conventional magnets are disposed at both axial sides of a rotor coil 6 made of flat coils 6a-6c, and the coil 6 is interposed via an air gap between the magnets 3a and 3b. In this manner, the characteristics of the motor can be improved without varying the configuration of the motor.
