Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the S/N by feeding the reflected light from the original which receives the main scanning by the laser beam back to the laser device. CONSTITUTION:The rotary disk 5 containing the optical fibers 8 and 9, lenses 10 and 11 plus the semiconductor laser 14 is provided within the head 3 which holds the original 1 and also possesses the mechanism to give the secondary scanning in the axial direction. The laser beam 12 sent from the semiconductor laser device 14 is irradiated on the original 1, and the reflected light is reflected on the inner wall of the head 3 to be feed back to the device 14 via the lens 11 and fiber 9. Then the reflected light is fed back with every half-rotation of the disk 5 to be applied to the device 14 in the form of the bias of a constant amount. Thus the S/N can be increased.
