CONSTITUTION:The curved surface alpha of a cylindrical lens 14 is provided at the side of a semiconductor laser 11. As a result, the reflected beams on the surface alpha do not become parallel to reduce extremely the feedback light volume without forming an image of reflected light on the junction surface of the laser 11 owing to the reflection on the surface alpha and the function of a condenser lens 13. The plane epsilon of a cylindrical lens 16 is disposed at the side of the laser 11. As a result, the reflected light on the plane epsilon is sent back toward the laser 11 by being further increased and dispersed, and thus the volume of the reflected light to be fed back to the laser 11 is extremely reduced.
