Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of hunting due to the lag of detection by a method wherein a power-factor is detected on the basis of voltage and currents between an inverse converting circuit and load, and differentiated, and an ingition period of the inverse converting circuit is controlled by the output. CONSTITUTION:An AC power source 1 is flowed through a current type inverter consisting of a forward converting circuit 2, a constant-current reactor 4 and an inverse converting circuit 3, and power is supplied to load 5. Load voltage is detected by means of a transformer 10 and load currents by means of a current transformer 14 and a rectifier 15 and added to a power-factor detector 13, the output is provided to a V/F converter 17 through a differentiator 16, and the frequency of the inverse converting circuit 3 is controlled. Consequently, signals given from an instructing instrument 11 are added to the V/F converter 17 from a ramp function generator 12, and compared with output from the differentiator 16, and the inverter is controlled. Thus, the generation of hunting due to the lag of detection is prevented even when light load, and hunting can efficiently be obviated.
