Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the work properties of division of the standard gas, by using a constant differential pressure regulator which performs control to equalize the outlet pressure of the standard gas to that of diluting gas.
CONSTITUTION: The standard gas passage 1 and the diluting gas passage 2 are connected to the constant differential pressure regulator 3. When the diluting gas and standard gas flow through the regulator 3, the degree of opening of a pilot valve 11 is adjusted by a diaphragm 10 which moves in response to the pressure difference between the primary chamber 9a and the secondary chamber 9b and the degree of opening of another pilot valve 14 is adjusted by another diaphragm 13 which moves is response to the pressure difference between the secondary chamber 12b of a second control valve and the outlet pressure of the first control valve passed through a communication passage A. As a result, the diluting gas and the standard gas are controlled to the same pressure and supplied to a changeover unit 4. The unit 4 is then operated to selectively combinethin tubes 51W55 to obtain mixed gas of desired concentration from a mixer 6. According to this constitution, the standard gas can be divided with improved work properties.
