Abstract

1507020 Burner control BRITISH GAS CORP 6 May 1975 [7 Feb 1974] 05657/74 Heading F4T Apparatus for controlling the flow ratio of two fluids, separately supplied to a mixing chamber 1, comprises means 6 for controlling throughput, and flow restrictor means 2, 3. Chamber 1 is in a burner 10, gas and air flow through ports 2, 3, the gas pressure P1 is controlled by a zero-governor 9, and a fan 6 and flow valve 11 are provided. Flow restrictors 12, 13 may be provided, the air may be pressurized by a fan 14, and the pressures P1, P3, may be maintained substantially equal by a connection 15. In a modification, valves (17, 18), Fig. 4 (not shown), are included in this connection. Fan 6 may be replaced by an eductor, ejector, or a jet pump. The flow ratio is substantially constant.
