Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminat nonuniform performances of control valves and obtain thereby an accurate control by controlling, into the same value, the outlet pressures of two control valves in a constant differential pressure regulator of such a construction that opening of the pilot valve is adjusted by a diaphragm moving in response to the differential pressure.
CONSTITUTION: When the pressure at No.1 gas outlet 1h goes up, the pressure in the secondary chamber 2b of No.2 control valve rises to push down a diaphragm 2c. Accordingly, a pilot valve 2f is pushed down, and the gap between pilot valve 2f and valve seat 2d becomes large to allow No.2 gas to flow more, so that the pressure at No.2 gas outlet side 2h, i.e., the inner pressure of the secondary chamber 2b, increases and the opening of the pilot valve 2f is stabilized at a position with the same pressure as at No.1 gas outlet 1h. Thus, the back pressure of No.2 control valve is controlled by the outlet pressure by introducing the outlet pressure of No.1 control valve into the secondary chamber of No.2 control valve, so that influence of nonuniform mechanical performances of control valves is eliminated and pressures of different gases can be controlled accurately to the same pressure.
