Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate the incorporation of the coil while preventing damage to the insulator layer by impregnating the resin spillage preventing film with a solvent-free resin after it is formed on the insulator layer of the coil and the resin is hardened after incorporation thereof into the iron slot as unhardened. CONSTITUTION:A highly fluid thermosetting resin is applied on the circumference of the insulator layer 2 made up of the insulating base material 8 and a glass tape 9 excepting an injection inlet 10 of resin and half hardened to form a resin spillage preventing film 6. The coil is impregnated with the solvent-free resin in a vacuum tank and after taken out of the tank, the injection inlet 10 is sealed with a normal- temperature-setting resin, it is incorporated into the slot 4 as unhardened. Then, subjected to drying by heat, the resin is hardened. This prevent damage to the insulator layer in incorporation into the slot 4. In addition, as the insulator layer 2 won't contact the slot wall, there is no damage due to difference in the heat expansion.
