Abstract
PURPOSE: To efficiently treat pyrolysis gas of solid waste, by a method wherein cleaning liquid of the pyrolysis gas is cooled by a heat exchanger, waste water freed from tars is concentrated using heat from a heater, and the heated cooling water in the above heat exchanger is used for heat source of the heater.
CONSTITUTION: Solid waste 1 is subject to decomposition and combustion by a cracking furnace 2 and a heating furnace 3. Combustion furnace gas 7 is sent to heat recovery process, etc. Cracked gas 8 passes through a steam superheater 6 and is sequentially sent to cracked gas cleaning-cooling units 9, 10, where the gas is cleaned and cooled, then is discharged as purified cracked gas 16. Condensed waste water 17 is freed from tars in a tar decomposition tank 18, the waste water 20 is guided to evaporators 21, 22 and is evaporated and concentrated by receiving heat from heaters 23, 24. As heat source, the first heater 23 uses steam 29, etc. outside of the system; the second heater 24 uses cooling water 15. Steam 34 from the first evaporator 21 is heated in the steam superheater 6, then used as fluid gas for the cracking furnace 2 and the combustion furnace 3. Steam 35 from the second evaporator 22 is discharged as first treatment discharge water 40 from a condenser 36.
