Abstract

PURPOSE: To seal in a lubricating oil for a long period of time by a method wherein the inner sleeve of a thick film lubrication structure is constructed as a double-sleeve structure and a nonmoist face is formed at the relative movement surface of the outer and inner sleeves.
CONSTITUTION: A rotary shaft 15 is contained in the inside of a fixed sleeve 33 having an opening as its upper portion, and a rotary sleeve 30 fixedly fitted to the shaft 15 contain the fixed sleeve 33, to constitute a double-sleeve structure. A thick film lubrication bearing is formed between the fixed sleeve 33 and the rotary shaft 15. A dilute solution of a fluoro-oil is coated on the outside surface 102 of the fixed sleeve 33 and the inside surface 103 of the rotary sleeve 30, and the coats are baked at 250W350° to form a nonmoist lubricating face seal, which prevents the lubricating oil 41 from leaking.
