Abstract

PURPOSE: To make the high accurately worked porduct possible to be manufactured, by greatly controlling the feeding speed with the movement of the forming roller, at performing the spinning work for the cylindrical work set to the mandrel.
CONSTITUTION: The cylindrical work 14 is set to the mandrel 1 and both are rotated integrally for performing the spinning work by roll forming woth the forming roller 8; hereupon, the radial rolling load to be given to above stated forming roller 8 is kept constant by the controller 13 consisting of the pressure detector 9, the amlifier 10, the servomotor 11 and the control valve 12, and at the same time, the feeding speed is increased with the movement of the forming roller 8 in order to suitably adjust the working rate. By thus keeping constant the gap between the forming roller 8 and the surface of the mandrel 1, the high accurately worked product with less variation of wall thickness can be manufactured.
