Abstract

PURPOSE: To make a test equipment for variation in load, etc., lightweight and miniature by rectifying the AC output of an electric power source unit into direct current by a forward converting rectifier and then by feeding the direct current back to the AC input electric power source of the electric power source unit by a separately excited inverter.
CONSTITUTION: To the series circuit consisting of switch 6, electric power source unit 2 and switch 7, load circuit 8 is connected in parallel through switch 4. This load circuit 8 is an AC-DC-AC converting circuit, constituted via DC reactor 11, etc., providing feedback to the input side of electric power source unit 2 as an electric output. The output voltage of electric power source unit 2 can therefore be carried by gate control leading angle γ of the inverter. Namely, a 0W100% load change state can be simulated by changing γ. Such a constitution can make lightweight and miniature the equipment that takes a phase-by-phase test such as a load variation test, load imbalance test and sudden load variation test.
