CONSTITUTION:The two diodes 5 and 6 connected in series in the forward direction are connected in parallel to a load resistor 12, and point (a), i.e. an end of the resistor 12 is connected to the base of an output transistor TR3 via a current suppressing resistor 15. The quantity of the current flowing to the collector of the TR1 form the base of the TR3 is very small even though the emitter-base voltage VEB of the TR3 varies if the resistance value of the resistor 15 is sufficiently large. As a result, almost a constant level is secured for the output voltage VO.
