Abstract

PURPOSE: To vary only the gain without varying the DC level, by connecting the transistor that forms a constant current circuit in parallel to the load connected to the collector of the transistor that forms a differential amplifying circuit.
CONSTITUTION: The 1st constant current circuit is formed by the transistors 1, 2 and 3, resistances 4, 6 and 7 plus the diode 8. At the same time, the 2nd constant current circuit is formed by the transistor 15, diode 16, transistor 17 and resistance 18. In case when this circuit is not included, the gain of the output signal varies with variation of the value of the load resistance 14. At the same time, the DC level also has a change. And the change of the DC level can be compensated by flowing a constant current with addition of the transistor 15.
