PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption of an auxiliary power source at the service interruption by inserting another transistor in series to the base circuit of a transistor interposed between a main power source line and a main element power source line, and turning off the latter TR at the time of service interruption. CONSTITUTION:When a main power source line 1 is above the normal voltage, forward bias voltage is applied to the base of a transistor (TR) 11 and the TR11 goes on. Hence, a TR8 goes on and the line 1 is connected to a memory element power source line 3. When power source is interrupted, the TRs 8, 11 go off to disconnect the line 1. An auxiliary power source line 7 is connected via a diode 4 to a memory element power source line 3. At this time, positive voltage is applied to the collector of the TR8, but since the base circuit of this TR is held closed by the TR11, the current flowing from the collector to the base is cut off virtually perfectly.
