Abstract

PURPOSE:to inexpensively form the heat radiating face having the figure of a constant cavity on the surface of heat radiating body and superior thermal conductivity, by forming plural number of minute paint islands on the heat radiating face of the heat radiating body and removing the paint after plating the heat radiating face. CONSTITUTION:Plural number of the minute islands 3 are formed by sticking the paint on the heat radiating face 1a of the heat radiating body 1. The above-mentioned islands 3 are formed by sticking the paint by contacting the plate having plural number of minute pores which are perforated at a fixed interval on the surface of the body 1. After that, the body 1 is plated and the plating coat 4 is formed. Next, the paint on the islands 3 is dissolved and removed and then, the cavity 5 having a uniform figure, is easily obtained. Thus, the heat radiating face having a superior boiling thermal conductivity, is inexpensively formed on the surface of the body 1 without carrying out mechanical processing by the usual method.
