Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the reduction rate of NOx by a method wherein reducing gases generated from materials to be incinerated are caught to be used for reducing the remainder of NOx within a secondary combustion chamber to nitrogen in the preventive method for additional generation of NOx due to the incineration. CONSTITUTION:Ammonia and organic nitrogen -contg. radicals, which are generated due to the restraint of the air supply to a dry stoker 1 and the front part 2 of a combustion stoker, and the NOx, which is generated in the rear part 3 of a combustion stoker and a post-combustion stoker 4, are mixed with each other and sent to the secondary combustion chamber 17. During the mixing, a part of the NOx is reduced by the reducing gas such as the ammonia or the like. Further, in the secondary combustion chamber 17, the NOx is reduced by a nitrogen reducing gas blown into together with the air to nitrogenous gas, the unburnt gas is completely burnt by the air, and the flame temperature rise is restrained to control the additional generation of NOx, resulting the lowering of NOx content.
