Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize an optimum control for the frequency temperature characteristics of an oscillating circuit, by connecting a parallel circuit of capacitors and a switching circuit in series to at least one of plural oscillators. CONSTITUTION:The on/off of a switching circuit 121 is controlled by a duty ratio control circuit 3, and the signal to control the duty ratio of the circuit 3 is delivered from a frequency dividing circuit 2. The oscillation frequency varies with variation of the capacities of capacitors C1 and C2. Thus the oscillation frequency is reduced by increasing the capacity and vice versa. For instance, a quartz oscillator X1 and the capacitor C1 are excluded from an oscillating circuit 12, and the oscillation frequencies are referred to as f1 and f2 when the circuit 121 is off and on respectively. Thus the oscillation frequency can be controlled in a range from f1 through f2, by controlling the time during which the circuit 121 is turned on.
