Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a device which can transmit the high-speed and large-capacity information with a long life time, by securing a contactless transmission of the information by use of the optical system having the same optical axis as the shaft of the turntable. CONSTITUTION:The signal to be transmitted to turntable 5 is originated from information source 1 in the form of the electric signal and then converted into the photosignal through electro-optical converter 2 to reach rod lens 4 through optical fiber 3. The optical axis of lens 4 coincides with the center axis of table 5, and the lower face of lens 4 is opposing in vicinity to the upper face of rod lens 6 attached to the center of table 5. The beams sent from lens 4 are condensed by lens 6 and then converted into the electric signal through photoelectric converter 8 after passing through optical fiber line 7 to then reach receiver 9. Thus the electric signals necessary for the apparatus within the turntable are transmitted. Accordingly, the large- capacity information can be transmitted even to the rotor having a long life time and a high-speed rotation.
