Abstract
PURPOSE: To construct a pile having a given quality while watching the increasing rate of sand amount which is detected and displayed by providing a driven pipe depth detector, a sand position detector, and an arithmetic displayer in a sand compaction work.
CONSTITUTION: As a driven pipe is drawn up, a driven pipe depth detector 11 converts the revolving number of a sieve 14 turned through a wire rope 13 into an electric signal and then outputs it. Also, as the sand level is lowered, a sand level detector 15 converts the revolving number of a sieve 19 turned through a wire rope 18 into an electric signal and outputs it. The output signals of the detectors are put in an arithmetic displayer 23. The inside diameter d of the driven pipe 1 and the diameter D of a sand pile are preset in the arithmetic displayer 23 and an increasing rate α of sand amount is obtained. While watching the increasing rate α of sand amount, workers construct sand piles while regulating deviation of the increasing rate α of sand amount from a set value by controlling the winding rate of the wire rope 18 and the vibration number of a vibrator.
