CONSTITUTION: The Cr content of a moving vane for a gas turbine except the vane bottom part is adjusted to about 18W30% to considerably enhance the corrosion resistance at high temp., and the C content is adjusted to ≤about 0.02%. On the other hand, the Cr content of the vane bottom part, the shank part and the dovetail part is adjusted to about 5W11%, the extent of γ' phase is considerably increased to provide high strength, and the C content is adjusted to about 0.07W0.2%. In order to attain this compositional distribution, electrode rods having said compositions are manufactured by an electroslag casting method, and the rods are exchanged at the interface between the vane bottom part and the vane part except the bottom part.
