Abstract

PURPOSE: To maintain the high electric resistance and to enhance the ductility and toughness by adding a prescribed percentage each of Ni, Co, Cr, Al and Fe and carrying out aging after soln. heat treatment.
CONSTITUTION: An alloy consisting of, by weight, 5W24% Ni, 2W20% Co, 0.5W 5% Cr, 0.2W2.5% Al and the balance Fe is refined. This alloy is hot rolled, subjected to soln. heat treatment, and aged. Thus, a soft magnetic material with high electric resistance, superior ductility and toughness is obtd.
