Abstract
PURPOSE:To bring a routine forcibly back to the initial state by operating a circuit system for a given period of time or longer, by providing a microprogram control circuit which operates the system with an external or internal start signal and enters into a system halt state with a specific microinstruction. CONSTITUTION:A clock signal operation various electric circuits is generated by an oscillator using quartz, etc., and a frequency divider 301 and the clock is supplied to a main circuit 302. The circuit 302 is provided with an ROM304 stored with various instructions and an RAM307 stored with various data. A timer circuit 334 receiving outputs from a timer 315, input port 314 and oscillator and frequency divider 301 and the clock is provided with logical circuits, such as an OR gate controlling the stop and start of the system, latch 319, FF circuit 325, etc. When the clock is supplied to the circuit 302 for a set time or longer, an address assigned by a program counter 303 is regarded as the starting address of an initializing program to prevent a runaway of a program.
