Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce a consumable current and to unnecessitate the setting time by stopping a hand driving motor at the time of unuse, counting a delay time by means of a counter and quickly feeding the driving motor at the time of starting reuse time.

CONSTITUTION: When a switch 10 is opened to render an clock into a unused state, FF36, 30 assume a resetting released state and a reset state, and AND gates 68 and 40 are in opened and closed states, respectively, and AND gates 70 and 42 are in closed and opened states, respectively. Then, the supply of one minute pulse from the frequency dividing circuit 4 to a hand driving motor 18 is interrupted, and, at the same time, the delay time due to the one-minute pulse is counted by a 12hr counter 12. When the switch 10 is closed and the clock is rendered into a reused state, the quick feed pulse is similarly applied to the motor 18 until the quick feed pulse counted value of the counter 14 coincides with the delay time counted value and the control due to the coincidence output of a coincidence circuit 16 is carried out. Thereafter, the motor 18 is driven by means of the one-minute pulse, and the time setting becomes unnecessary, thus a clock of a small consumable current being obtained.
