Abstract

PURPOSE: To restart the clock signal from an arbitrary timing, by designating the restart timing after stop of clock signal with microinstruction.
CONSTITUTION: A signal from an oscillation circuit 1 is input to a clock restart control circuit 9 via a frequency divider circuit 2. The circuit 9 consists of a mask 10 to obtain several kinds of signals 13 from a signal 12 in the circuit 2 and a PLA 11 to select an arbitrary signal from the signal 13 by a microinstruction 14. The output of the PLA 11 is output via an AND gate 3 and an OR gate 5. Further, the output of the circuit 2 is controlled with a key input control circuit 6 and an AND gate 4. Thus, the microprogram control circuit is changed for the mask by the object to be used and the restart timing can be made suitable for the object, and the current consumption can be reduced.
