Abstract

PURPOSE: To allow a jump to an interruption processing routine immediately after an emergency interruption is made in execution of a microinstruction, by providing an address switch and microinstruction switch to input and output lines of a control memory circuit respectively.
CONSTITUTION: Synchronizing with a clock signal inputted from terminal 2, sequencer 1 outputs sequentially microaddresses to read microinstructions of control memory circuit 5 via address switch 4. At every time when the clock signal is inputted, register 7 updates microinstructions and then outputs them via microinstruction switch 9. When an emergence instruction is generated and inputted to terminal 6, address switches 4 outputs interruption entry address I0 of setter 3 to control memory circuit 5 by switching as shown in figure C and microinstruction switch 9 outputs specific instruction T of setter 8 as a microinstruction by switching as shown in figure D. Therefore, a jump to an interruption processing routine can be made immediately even if the processor is in process of the execution of one microinstruction.
