Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the time of execution for the microinstruction, by giving a suppression to the execution with production of the execution suppression signal during the conditional branch microinstruction.
CONSTITUTION: The microinstruction read out of the control memory 2' is applied to execution part 1' via the microinstruction register 3' for execution. The microprogram address control part 4' produces the address of the microinstruction to be executed next and then gives it to the memory 2'. Then the microinstruction read out of the memory 2' is supplied to the register 3'. In this case, the part 4' produces the branch indication signal 43 in case the microinstruction to be executed next is the conditional branch order. In response to this branch indication signal, the execution suppression signal is generated to be applied to the control terminal 12 of the part 1'. In such way, the operation to be attained by plural microinstructions can be executed by the single microinstruction, thus reducing the time of execution.
