Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a trace unit for micro programs which decodes contents of a part and communicates the trace start to a control part which executes a pertinent trace.
CONSTITUTION: Information read out from memory part 1 according to a micro program address signal from address line l1 is received by latch 2 through l1, and contents of information are connected to decoder 3 through l3. Control part 4 which stores micro program and channel numbers, control part 5 which stores an address only when the assigned channel number agrees with the channel number in the micro program processing, and control part 6 which increases the value of a counter by +1 are connected to decoder 3. Further, control part 7 which traces the number of simultaneous operations of subchannels is connected to decoder 3.
