Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable the compressor to perform an injecting function and an unloader releasing function at the same time by a method wherein a valve having passages of different sectional areas through which a coolant is sucked and discharged, respectively, is provided in a port communicating with the cylinder of the compressor.
CONSTITUTION: In case where the pressure PR in a coolant pipe 17 is higher than the pressure PC in a cylinder chamber 11a, the coolant is introduced into the cylinder chamber 11a through the smaller sectional area passage of the valve 16 as shown by the chain line in the drawing. In this case, a movable plate 24 comes into contact with a valve cover 23 and the coolant flows into an injection port 15 through a small hole 26 to thereby perform the injecting function. On the contrary, in case where the pressure PR in the coolant pipe 17 is lower than the pressure PC in the cylinder chamber 11a, the coolant passes through the larger sectional area passage of the valve 16 as shown in the solid line and is discharged from the cylinder chamber 11a to flow into the coolant pipe 17 to thereby perform the unloader releasing function.
