CONSTITUTION: This permanent magnet alloy has a composition contg., by wt., 24W28% R (≥1 kinds of rare earth metals), 1W<5% Cu, 1W35% Fe, 0.5W6% M (one or more among Nb, Zr, Ta, Hf, Ti and V) and >22W73.5% Co. By improving the characteristics of an R2Co17 alloy contg. Cu, Fe and M, this alloy is provided with coercive force I Hc almost equal to that of an RCo5 alloy and higher energy product (BH)m.
