Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the fluctuation width of fixation temperature by controlling the time feeding rate of a fixation part by a symmetric burst control system. CONSTITUTION:The temperature of a fixation part is detected by thermistor Th, whose detection output is applied to terminal 8 of ICSL for light/heat control via amplifier A1 and photocoupler PC. Then, ICSL exercises symmetric burst control. Namely, enen if an ON or OFF command is supplied at any time, it exercises ON/ OFF control over triac TRC so that electric power fed to load L will be zero at the point in time of the completion of one cycle without fail. Further, the time feeding rate of triac TRC is controlled according to the control input voltage at terminal 8. Therefore, load L is supplied with the electric power that corresponds to the detected temperature of thermistor Th through triac TRC and the temperature of the fixation part is adjusted to a settled temperature. This constitution reduces the fluctuation width of the fixation temperature.
