Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a quantitative feed method and a device thereof which is manufactured at an inexpensive cost and has an improved precision, by a method wherein overflow of liquid from one tank to the other is detected at a connection pipe connecting together two liquid tanks having water feed valves and water discharge valves. CONSTITUTION:Two liquid tanks 5 and 6 provided with water feed valves 1, 2 and water discharge valves 3, 4 are coupled together, and are mutually equalized in a capacity of a part covering from below a connection part 7. A detector, which detects overflow of liquid from a tank to the other, is mounted at the connection part 7. Liquid is poured into the liquid tank 5 through an opening of the water feed valve 1 in a condition to close water discharge valves 3 and 4. When overflow is caused, the water feed valve 1 is closed, and the water discharge valve 3 is opened to discharge the liquid. After water discharge is completed, the water discharge valve 3 is closed, and the water feed valve 2 is opened to feed the liquid into the liquid tank 6. Operations described above are performed in the liquid tanks 5 and 6, and this prevents wasting of an overflow liquid and permits an alternate measuring of a constant amount of liquid.
