Abstract
PURPOSE: To make the wall thickness accurate and prevent transfer of ink to an unrequired part by lowering the surface facing the one to be printed onto a ground plane having a desired polishing function and by polishing the substance thereby into a plane surface.
CONSTITUTION: Fine wires formed of elements having a property of being shaven, such as synthetic resin, are woven into a screen 4 for printing by an ordinary method and this screen is stretched on an optional frame body 5. Next, the frame body 5 is lowered on the surface 7 of the polishing body 8 having a large area than that of the frame body 5 and having the surface 7 prepared by coating a metal plate 6 with emery powder and provided with the shaving function. Then, while the whole surface of the screen 4 for printing is pressed by a pressing body 9 having an area nearly corresponding to the inside area of the frame body 5, the polishing body 8 is made to conduct a reciprocating motion by operating a cam mechanism 10 which makes the shaving body 8 crawl, thereby the surface of the tiny wires 1 contacting with the substance 3 to be printed is polished horizontally into a plane surface, and thus the screen for printing having such a surface is obtained.
