Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent a chromatic signal from being mixed into the black information edge of the original, by digitizing the read signal into two signals by different thresholds and by forming a black taking-out signal from one signal group and by subjecting respective signals of the other signal group to the black taking-out operation. CONSTITUTION:The signal of a long wavelength is made binary in the first comparator 10 by the slice level near darkness and is made binary in the second comparator 12 by the slice level near light. Similarly, the signal of a short wavelength is made binary in the first comparator 11 by the slice level near darkness and is made binary in the second comparator 13 by the slice level near light. Respective digitized signals are latched in D type flip flops 14-17. Output signals flip flops 16 and 17 are subjected to the logical operation by AND circuit 18 and become black taking-out signals.
