Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the disorder of heating regeneration-cooling due to interruption of electric power supply, a long period stop, an intermittent operation or the like by providing a heating time control timer and an intermittent operation control timer to an air drying apparatus repeating heating regeneration-cooling.
CONSTITUTION: When an adsorbing cylinder 1a carries out an adsorbing process and an adsorbing cylinder 1b is in a regeneration process, a portion of dried air is passed through a heat exchanger 3 and a heater 9 to be heated and the heater is controlled by a sensor 11b to supply air with a constant temp. to an upper part of the adsorbing cylinder and, thereby, an adsorbent is regenerated. When an adsorbed water amount is same to a set value, the heater 9 is stopped by a sensor 12b but, when above the set value due to the power interruption or the like, the sensor 12b is not operated over if 4hr are elapsed. Then, a timer 15 generates an order after 4hr to stop the heater 9 through a relay 17 and, thereby, the adsorbing cylinder is transferred to a heat movement and cooling process and, if 8hr are elapsed to complete one process, the regeneration of the adsorbing cylinders 1a, 1b is switched.
