Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the drift of vapor by forming double tube for the tube of a heat accumulator, sealing heat accumulating material among the tubes and thus dividing the vapor passage in a flowing direction.
CONSTITUTION: A heat accumulation element is formed of inner tubes 11 having longitudinal fins 13 of four plates on the outer surfaces of the tubes and outer tubes 12 engaged in a suitable gap with the fins 13 at the outer diameter. Heat accumulating material 8 is sealed between the annular space between the inner tubes 11 and the outer tubes 12, and the vapor flows in the tubes 11. This vapor flows only in the tubes 11 but does not drift. When the material 8 is leaked, since the ends of the tubes 11 are opened with the respective elements 23, the leakage of the element can be readily detected for each element.
