Abstract
PURPOSE:To exactly obtain an R-Y color difference signal without controlling the phase of the line change-over switch of fH/2, by switching the static switch only when the polarity of an R-Y axis component of a burst signal does not coincide with the polarity of a chrominance subcarrier for demodulation, which is provided to the R-Y demodulator. CONSTITUTION:A burst signal whose polarity is inverted relating to the R-Y axis, and a chrominance carrier signal are inputted to the input terminal 1, the output which has passed through the inversional circuit 11 of the chrominance signal, and the output which has not passed it through are provided to the first switch 12, and the output of the switch 12 is provided to the R-Y demodulator 6. And, a chrominance subcarrier is generated by the local chrominance subscarrier oscillator 20 by synchronizing with a burst signal to be added to chrominance components of PAL system, the output which has passed through the inversional circuit 23 of said carrier, and the output which has not passed it through are provided to the third switch 24, and the output of the switch 24 is provided to the demodulator 6 as a demodulation carrier. The polarity of the burst signal of the fourth switch 28, and that of the demodulation carrier are decided by the phase discriminator 17, and when both signals are mot matched, the switch 24 is switched so that the R-Y demodulating operation is made exactly.
