Abstract
PURPOSE:To make possible to measure a pulse width accurately without effect of the change of an amplitude by measuring the number of larger data than the threshold data obtained from the max. amplitude values among AD conversion outputs of detection pulse signal amplitudes. CONSTITUTION:In an input pulse signal, a part over a setting threshold level is detected at an amplitude detecting circuit 31. During the period wherein said pulse signal is continued, a timing generating circuit 32 generates a timing signal f11. On the other hand, the pulse signal is fed to a data treating circuit 34 after being converted to a digital signal at an A/D conversion circuit 33, and stored in a memory. When the fall of the pulse signal is detected by the timing generation circuit 32, the max. amplitude data are detected from a whole amplitude data by the data treating circuit 34, whereby the threshold data is obtained. Then comparing the threshold data with the whole amplitude data in order, the number of the large stored amplitude data is counted. Thus counted data is indicated on an indicating circuit 35. Thus, even if the amplitude of the input pulse changes, the accurate time width can be measured.
