Abstract
PURPOSE:To suppress the production of discharge based on the pyroelectricity when a rapid temperature change is caused, by covering the crystal surface except the energizing converter and reception converter with electric conductor and covering the residual surface including the converters with resistive film. CONSTITUTION:On the surface of the piezoelectric crystal plate 41 having pyroelectricity, the reed-screen-shaped electrode by the conductive thin film is formed with photoetching, one reed-screen electrode is taken as the energizing converter converter 12R is covered with the metallic film 42 being electric 12S and another reed-screen electrode is taken as the reception converter 12R. The surface of the crystal plate 41 except the energizing converter 12S and reception conductor and the surface forming the converters 12S, 12R is covered with the resistive film 43. The film thickness (h) of the resistive film 43 and the specific resistivity rho are obtained so that rho/h is <=10<12> ohms - >=10<10> ohms at room temperature.
