Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the design easy, by setting both the outermost ridges of a comb- shaped electrode with a slope to a signal transmitting direction. CONSTITUTION:A base 10 is formed with a rectangular plate of quartz, piezoelectric porcelain device or the like, and an input converter 11 is to convert an electric signal into a mechanical signal and consists of one set of comb-shaped thin film electrodes 12, 13. Further, the electrodes 12, 13 are combined so that a number of unit electrodes 12a, 13a of the electrodes are alternately adjacent and the adjacent ridges are in parallel, and the width and gap of the unit electrodes 12a, 13a excluding unit electrodes 12'a and 12'a at both the outermost ridges of the electrode 12 are equal with each other and are of normal type electrode shape. Further, the unit electrodes 12'a, 12'a are formed in triangle shape, and both the outermost parts of the electrode 12 have a slope to an orthogonal direction with the direction of signal transmission. Thus, the measured value of each characteristics including the transmission band width can be in coincidence with the design calculation value, allowing to make the design easy.
