CONSTITUTION:An elastic surface-wave unit with comb line filter characteristics consists of input electrode 14 and output electrodes 15 and 16. On a propagation path for elastic surface waves between electrodes 14 and 15, grating reflectors 19 are provided which consists of metal-film strips or grooves made in piezoelectric substrate 13. Denoting a peak frequency interval of the comb line filter and the lower end of an in-use peak frequency by (DELTAf) and (fl). A comb line peak disappears at frequency fG=fl-DELTAf where the reflection coefficient of reflector 19 reaches its maximum, and an output vibrator of a discrimination level or more than the comb line peak higher than frequency (fl) can be obtained.
