PURPOSE:To make miniaturization possible while realizing application to the low frequency band by using tapered piezoelectric vibrators and a delay medium with bevels. CONSTITUTION:To the mutually-opposite surfaces of delay medium 8 with the bevels varying in propagation distance continuously, tapered piezoelectric vibrators 9 varying in thickness continuously are bonded; input terminals 10 and 10' are connected to one piezoelectric vibrator, and output terminals 11 and 11' to the other. Denoting the maximum thickness and minimum thickness of piezoelectric vibrators 9 as t1 and t2, minimum frequency f1 of the frequency band of those piezoelectric vibrators is K/t1 and maximum frequency f2 is K/t2. When the maximum propagation length and minimum propagation length at the parts where piezoelectric vibrators 9 are bonded to delay medium 8 are denoted as l1 and l2 and the velocity of an acoustic wave propagating is as (v), maximum delay time gamma1 and minimum delay time gamma2 are l1/v and l2/v respectively.
