PURPOSE:To measure the bending rate automatically to enhance the check efficiency and improve the reliability of the measurement precision, by constituting the measuring device with a moving stand where the tube to be measured is put, a driving device, a movement extent detector, a displacement extent detector, a curve detector, and an operating device. CONSTITUTION:First, tube 1 to be measured is put on the truck frame. Then, truck frame 3 is moved in the direction of arrow C by driving motor 7. At this time, though movement extent detector 8 connected to motor 7 directly is operated to generate a signal, this signal is not transmitted to curve detector 28 because X gate 32 is closed. Then, the tip of operating tube 1 is brought into contact with rotating roller 15, and touch switch 30 is operated simultaneously with rising of roller 15, and X gate 32 and Y gate 33 are opened to start the signal processing.
